In early September a visit to Royal Windsor was organised by Donna & Diana.
A slight delay to our arrival in the town meant that we were greeted by a march past of Guardsmen resplendent in the Busby’s and scarlet uniforms.
Whilst some elected to visit the magnificent Castle rooms and gardens others opted for coffee, bagels and ice cream.
The clearing weather gave perfect conditions for exploring the town and Eton.
Several of us enjoyed a relaxing river cruise appreciating the scenery and the traditional approach to the castle.
