Tea and Coffee
The ladies making the tea and the coffee need to get the urn on by 9.45am. Naturally the kettles only take a few minutes.
From the list, count the number of teas and coffees required. Put the required number of coffee mugs on the trolley. It is behind the screen if we have not got it out. Place coffee in mug ready for pouring.
For special celebrations there may be cake, always slice it and serve with napkins.
Biscuits go on blue plates which are kept under the sink.
Pour milk, which Pam G brings, into the jugs and put sugar in bowls on the trolley and the hatch
5 minutes before coffee break, all 4 of you go and make the tea in tea pot which has a good supportive handle and pour it out. Pour water on coffee. There is a large jug (under the sink) to speed this process.
Leave an inch to spare in coffee mugs. WHEEL trolley with black coffees into hall. Do NOT take boiling kettles into hall. People can help themselves to milk etc.
Please remember to serve the speaker with tea/coffee with the matching mug and tray provided.
Use trolley to collect empties, wash the mugs and return to cupboard. There are lots of tea towels in 3rd drawer down. Use as many as necessary.
